Vintage Kay Cello Model #55 3/4 With Naugahyde Cover

This is a very nice Vintage Kay Cello #55 serial number 16969. I am not sure when it was made but I am guessing sometime late 40's - 50's. Basing this on one blog where a Kay cello owner of the same model had serial number 13936 and was told that theirs was produced in 1946. This one does not come with a bow. However, it does come with a Naugahyde faux leather cover which I think was popular during the mid century. The zippers work. A small side strap has ripped off on one side but looks like it could be easily repaired. The cello is in very good condition with some scratches and nicks consistent with its age and use.
