4/4 Jean-Pierre Lupot VC501 cello by Eastman. 2021 Stradivari pattern. I have discounted this cello on account of the imperfection beneath the bass-side f-hole (seen in the final photo). It is not a crack nor damage, but rather a tiny spruce insert made at the time of construction, then varnished, and is not an issue whatsoever. Although some do not discount based upon a workshop construction method, it is imperfect in my opinion and I have listed with a welcoming discount. It’s very difficult to see, and I had listed it at full price for a few days before I even noticed it. STUNNING condition otherwise. Warm, robust tone and a touch of sweetness throughout with plenty of projection. Tastefully antiqued finish. Larsen A and D, Spirocore G and C strings. Wittner tailpiece. Carbon endpin.
