    Description

    Cheyenne River Sioux Ceramic Artist
    Keri Fischer RAKU Pottery
Measuring 4 7/8 inches high and 6 1/2 inches across this beautiful piece exemplifies the work of Keri LaVonne Fischer.  An enrolled member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe and Eagle Butte native garnered both first and second place at the 2011 Northern Plains Indian Art Market.
Keri keeps her beautiful pottery shapes round and circular because the Lakota people believe the circle is a sacred form.  This piece shows her work in using RAKU firing in conjunction with her pottery.  The use of Lakota symbols are also shown in this stunning pot (my favorite).
The pot weighs 1 pound 2.7 ounces and will be carefully packed for shipment.
